230 thread count 100% cotton cover

30cm deep

100% spiral fibre fill with cassette construction
This mattress topper has cassette construction which simply means the stitching is used to form a grid/box. Having this keeps the filling in its own area so it does not move around the topper. The filling has even distribution across the whole mattress topper to help with the longevity and overall performance of the product. Being filled with spiral recycled fibre gives the mattress topper a plush bounce.
Recycled polyester fibre
While polyester is not the best material for the environment, Dorma uses recycled fibre from waste – eg plastic bottles – to reduce how much is going into landfills. The purpose of this Dorma mattress topper is comfort over support, and after testing it we agree. It will not feel like you have a brand-new mattress, but it does have the ability to give you a good night's sleep. The softness gives it a luxurious feel while you are sleeping and smoothness over any bumps you may have in your mattress.
In terms of motion isolation and pressure relief, the Dorma mattress topper does not impact or change the performance of your mattress. If you are using it on a medium-firm mattress that can relieve pressure, then you will feel those benefits through these mattress toppers. However, if your mattress is super soft and comfortable, you will be getting even more comfort when using this product without any extra support.
The cover being cotton does keep the mattress topper breathable but overall I would suggest using this mattress topper in the colder months rather than when we have warm nights. It will definitely keep you cosy and warm if you get cold during the night – especially being sandwiched between the topper and your duvet.

What we don’t like about the Dorma Full Forever mattress topper
Depending on what you are searching for, you will find some disadvantages to using this particular mattress topper. We found that:
- It is quite crisp which some may like but if you cannot sleep with any noise then this is not for you. It is noisy every time you move so combination sleepers (like myself) will not find this practical when going to bed.
- Some memory foam mattress toppers will be more durable in quality, as they are more weighty and can easily return to their original shape. Unlike the fibres in this product that will start to wear down.
- If you are looking for added support, this is not the one for you.
The common problems with the Dorma Full Forever mattress topper
You may find that the mattress topper can still move when you are in bed because there is no grip on the base and the sides are not secure. However, it is easy to solve this by using a fitted sheet over the top to keep everything in place.
The design can be uncomfortable so if you find this true for you, your best bet is to try putting a fitted sheet over the top to smooth it out. While others found it cool to the touch, others felt it made them hotter in bed so an additional sheet could help with that too.

This does not mean it is not a suitable mattress topper for you. After testing, we can confirm that it is the ideal product for smoothing out any discomfort in your mattress.
If you like the firmness of your mattress, you can still feel the mattress underneath this product so it is just a case of an additional layer rather than transforming your mattress. However, if you need a lot of padding to balance out your mattress, you may need to look for an alternative with a larger depth.
Being just a few centimetres deep, we do not think it will be full forever' because the fibres will wear down after long use, so it will need to be replaced every couple of years. It might be worth investing in a more expensive choice that will last longer if you are wanting a long-term solution, rather than a budget-friendly one.
It is not the best for moisture management for those who are hot sleepers, but it is one of the best mattress toppers for easy cleaning and low maintenance – no need to wipe with a damp cloth, simply pop it in the washing machine.
Whether you are after a Super King or a Small Double, there is a mattress topper for every bed that will provide you with softness and keep you warm – it is like having a duvet underneath you when you cosy up in bed.
