While we haven't discussed this at large so far, the Newentor topper has proven to be very durable during our tests. Not only that, it has shown clear signs of serious longevity – something that can't be said about most other toppers on the market.

The foam was very responsive and it managed to regain back its shape after a series of rigorous tests. We didn't see any permanent sinkage, even after simulating long-term use.

How did we test the product?

There's a lot that goes into conducting a full and thorough test of a mattress topper.

We have a team of sleep experts and product testers who evaluate each topper on several different criteria, like firmness, support, durability, motion isolation, etc. And, all of that's tested through:

• Wash the cover to see if the fabric shrinks or bleeds colour.
• Perform a roller test to see if the foam can withstand abrasion and prolonged use.
• Leave heavy weights in certain positions for a long time to test dipping and sinkage.

Is Newentor Dual-Layer Memory Foam mattress topper eco-friendly or sustainable?

The foam is made from petroleum-based products, so it's not exactly biodegradable or even fully recyclable.

With that said, the topper is CertiPUR-US certified, which means it doesn't contain any harmful chemicals or materials, so that's something.

But then again, we have a polyester cover which isn't exactly the most sustainable option out there.
So, all in all, we can't say that this topper is eco-friendly or sustainable.

Overall impressions of the product after the testing
